Biography |
SERGEI ALIMOV Born in 1938 in Moscow. Graduated from the Russian State Institute of Cinematography. The diploma work “History of one crime” (animation film, director – F.Khitruk) gained a number of international awards. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of Russian Art Academy. Professor of Russian State Institute of Cinematography. Artist of the Doll Theatre of S. Obraztsov. Member of the Union of Cinematographists of Russia. Worked in “Sojusmultfilm” studio since 1962. Main works in cinema: “Toropyzhka”, “Boniface’s”, “Wisy fish”, “Man in a Frame”, “Little Organ”, etc. |

All the films are awarded on international festivals in S.-Francisco, Mamai, Oberhausen, Sophia. Works also as a books-illustrator. Participated in many exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The artist’s works are in State Tretyakov Gallery, museums and private collections in Russia and abroad (Germany, Holland, Finland, Greece, France, England, Switzerland, Italy etc.) Laureat of The State Award of Russia in 2001. Lives and works in Moscow. Has been working with “Alla Bulyanskaya Gallery” since 1997. |
